Drake's Cakes set for September return
McKee foods will re-debut Coffee Cakes, Yodels and other brands purchased from Hostess.
Drake's Cakes brands including Devil Dogs, Coffee Cakes, Yodels and Ring Dings are set to return to store shelves in the third week of September, according to AP reports. McKee Foods Corp, makers of Little Debbie snack cakes, purchased the Drake's Cakes brands from Hostess after the company went out of business last year. Apollo Global Management and Metropoulos & Co. purchased Twinkies, CupCakes and several other snack cake brands.
