The Coca-Cola Company added a 50,000-sq.-ft. expansion to its existing 225,000-sq.-ft. facility in Lehigh County, PA. The $42.9 million project will include a hot-fill line to produce more non-carbonated drinks and is expected to be fully operational in 2014.
Dot Foods broke ground on the seventh expansion of its warehouse facilities at its headquarters in Mount Sterling, IL. The new 110,000-sq.-ft. cooler warehouse has an anticipated completion date of April 1, 2014. Dot’s corporate headquarters is now home to more than 1.41 million sq. ft. of warehouse space.
Sheetz Convenience Restaurants started construction on a new distribution and production center in Burlington, NC. The 44-acre site will include a bakery, distribution and warehousing center.
