Used for partitionless packaging of products made with glass, aluminum, PET or other materials, the Standard-Knapp Versatron case packer with lowering head module provides programmable pick-and-place motion, achieving positive placement fully into the bottom of each case. The module can be equipped with a variety of gripper heads for the damage-free placement of bottles and containers with zero drop. Depending on the size of the product, the lowering head can operate at a rate up to 30 cycles/min.
