Providing an energy seal for climate-controlled loading docks, the Kelley KI-450 inflatable shelter puts little or no pressure on building walls. The shelter envelopes the back of an already docked trailer or container by inflating against the top and inward against the sides. A blower assembly forces air through the header and side air chambers, encasing the trailer or container during loading or unloading. The top seal has a roller design that automatically activates for lower or higher vehicles, and follows all vertical movements of the docked vehicle produced by a forklift driving in and out of the back of the vehicle.
