Designed to meet a variety of applications requirements and weather conditions, Banner R-GAGE QT50R radar sensors are used for collision avoidance on mobile equipment, outdoor crane-to-crane proximity detection and flatbed or box truck detection at loading docks. Operating with frequency modulated, continuous wave radar, the sensors detect stationary and moving targets by providing distance and speed measurement; they have sensing ranges up to 24m. The sensors feature IP67-rated housings to withstand harsh environments.
