US Poultry and Egg Association announced a new half-day program at IPPE called "Biosecurity--Revisiting the basics and implementing new strategies," which will review the basics of successful biosecurity programs as well as explore new strategies for emerging global challenges. Outbreaks of the H7N9 virus in China and the H7N3 virus in Mexico have heightened the need for effective biosecurity strategies. The program will include industry specialists, a panel discusison and a Practical Biosecurity Workshop.
