Gusto Packing announced a voluntary recall of 67,113 pounds of spiral-sliced ham over possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Internal testing by the processor revealed the presence of Listeria in some products, and Gusto alerted FSIS when it was discovered some of the affected products had already been shipped into the retail stream. Hams were shipped to wholesalers in Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Canada. Neither FSIS nor Gusto has received reports of human illnesses related to the hams.
