3-A Sanitary Standards, Inc. announced it is now accepting applications for the 2014 Student Travel Scholarship Award, designed to help students participate in the organization’s annual education program.

Students participating in the program will gain comprehensive, first-hand knowledge about hygienic design for food processing equipment and systems. The program will be held May 12-16 at Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in Milwaukee, WI.

To be eligible for the 2014 scholarship award, a student must be enrolled full time in a food technology, food science, dairy science or related program of study at the undergraduate or graduate level in the US or Canada.

Students representing schools including California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo; Cornell University; Michigan State University; Pennsylvania State University; Texas Tech University; the University of Minnesota; the University of Vermont; and the University of Wisconsin-Madison have been awarded previous scholarships.
