Maple Donuts, Inc. expanded its operations in Lake City, PA from 80,000 sq. ft. to 100,000 sq. ft. The company will invest more than $4.5 million.

McCall Foods acquired the Bruce’s brand and two existing Bruce Food plants. McCall Foods plans to invest $19.3 million to add a canning line at the company’s Florence County, SC plant.

HJ Heinz Co. will expand its Muscatine, IA plant, investing $24.5 million.

The J. M. Smucker Company plans an additional $40 million in improvements at its Memphis, TN facility, after receiving a 13-year PILOT grant to convert its 135,000-sq.-ft. facility to manufacture peanut butter and fruit spreads.

Hilmar Cheese expects to finish its second plant expansion at its Dalhart, TX facility. The company has invested almost $200 million since 2006.

Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation announced a $25 million investment in Alabama that includes the construction of a feed mill facility in Pinckard, AL and a $10 million renovation of its poultry processing facility in Enterprise, AL.

Popcorn Sutton Distilling LLC has built a new 46,000-sq.-ft. craft distillery in Newport, TN.

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC will expand its operations in Arkansas City, KS. The 71,000-sq.-ft. project includes a new refrigerated fabrication area, cooler, refrigerated truck docks, processing support and equipment rooms.
