Flexicon’s Flexi-Disc 6-in. diameter tubular cable conveyor is designed to transfer friable materials, including beans, cereals, coffees, dried fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, teas and spices. The unit features low-friction, high-strength polymer discs that slide material dust-free through the stainless steel tubing; the discs are available in galvanized cable or 304 or 316 stainless steel cable. The conveyor can be routed horizontally, vertically or at any angle, with single or multiple inlets and discharges that are valved or open. All housings and ancillary components are made of 304 or 316 stainless steel and polished to industry standards. The conveyor is offered as a standalone system or pre-engineered and integrated with upstream or downstream equipment.
