First Lady Michelle Obama will announce changes to nutrition facts label requirements on Thursday, the fourth anniversary of anti-childhood obesity campaign Let's Move!, according to Politico. Exact changes have not been made public, but many expect to see calorie counts more prominently displayed and serving sizes changed to reflect what consumers are actually eating. FDA may also require added sugars to be listed on packages, instead of just total sugars as currently listed. The proposals are currently listed as under review by the White House Office of Management and Budget.
