The Freudenberg separable Radiamatic HTS II mixing shaft sealing ring consists of 4 segments and an O-ring. The segments are made of PTFE E202 and meet the material requirements of the US Food and Drug Administration, (EC) No. 1935/2004 and EU No.10/2011. The O-ring cord fulfills the requirements under 3A, FDA and (EC) No. 1935/2004 standards. Developed for low-gap and low-dead-space shaft seals in mixers and stirrers, the ring has a seal lip that is arranged flush on the product side. A defined contact surface remains nearly constant under all operating conditions.
