Negotiations may help increased exports
The Obama Administration is winning praise from organizations that say Washington’s ongoing Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations may pave the way for increased exports. US trade negotiators are seeking greater access to Japan for US meat and poultry. The American Meat Institute, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, National Chicken Council, North American Meat Association and USA Poultry & Egg Export Council praised the Administration’s bargaining stance.
