The SKF TKTL 40 portable infrared thermometer operates with a distance-to-spot ratio of 50:1; 2 laser points indicate the targeted area, and the temperature is shown on the display. The thermometer also can take photos and videos showing the measured temperatures. A K-type probe connection can be used independently or in tandem with the infrared technique when direct contact temperature measurement is applicable. A data logging function tracks temperature changes over time.
