The Emerson System Plast multidirectional, roller-top conveyor belt aligns packages to any angle, diverts them, sorts to multiple lanes and rotates, combines and/or gaps them without any contact. The low-friction, 0.34-in. thick acetal main belt is comprised of small cells that carry free-moving polyamide balls. Secondary drive belts underneath the plastic belt control the speed and rotation of the balls to manipulate packages while the belt is moving or stopped. The belt supports loads up to 617 lb./ft. or 1.1 lb./ball.
