Used in the production of clear malt beverage, the GEA membrane filtration plant can be integrated into an existing brewery to separate undesirable residual sugar, salts and long-chain color and aroma components; an additional absorption polishing step is optional. The plant has feed rates from 50 to 250 hL/hr. It also can be used for other products such as wine and cider.
