Designed for simple machine control, the Unitronics Samba all-in-one, palm-sized controller has a 4.3-in. QVGA 16-bit touchscreen that enables data entry and the display of variable data.  The integrated PLC includes a range of features including 2 auto-tuned PID loops, time-based RTC control, data logging and recipes. The internal memory holds 0.5MB of application logic, plus 512K for fonts and 0.5MB for images. Onboard I/Os offer digital, analog and high-speed functionality. The controller supports GPRS/GSM, email and SMS, as well as industrial TCP/IP protocols, MODBUS, DF1 slave, CANopen and J1939; it can also be adapted to any third-party protocol.
