The Coperion WYK 2-way diverter valve is used in pneumatic conveying systems to divert the transfer of hygienic and difficult-to-handle powders, such as whey powder, lactose, dried milk and infant formula. The rotor can be pulled slightly out of its housing, allowing the cleaning solution to rinse all product areas within the valve. Purge openings in the actuator plate enable a rinsing flow and complete discharge of the rinsing effluent.
