The Flexicon FLEXI-DISC sanitary tubular cable conveyor for fragile bulk foods allows rapid washdown of the system. One-piece polymer discs affixed to polymer-coated 304 or 316 stainless steel cable slide within the stainless steel tubing to move bulk material and evacuate the tubing at the conclusion of a conveying cycle. Any material clinging to the cable and disc assembly can be continually removed during operation and returned to the product stream.
