The Schenck cleanable round airlock has a linear rail system that demounts and re-engages the rotor, as well as an oversized rotor shaft for product release. The components used in product contact areas are constructed of FDA-approved materials; all lubrication in the product zones is NSF H1 and H2 rated. The airlock is offered in 8- to 14-in. sizes, with CFR ranges from .17 to 2.31.
