Approximately 6,700 cases of Dove Chocolate Assortment Snowflakes have been recalled after a customer reported finding bits of Snickers candy bars in the seasonal holiday chocolates.

Mars Chocolate North America issued the voluntary recall last week, reporting the chocolates may include some Snickers, Milky Way and Twix pieces that contain peanuts, wheat and/or eggs. These ingredients are not listed on the packaging label.

The recall is limited to purple 24-ounce bags of Dove Chocolate Assortment Snowflakes. This item was shipped and distributed to only one retailer and sold at retail food stores starting Sept. 19 through Dec. 1.
