Providing contactless sensing of a piston’s position in a compact pneumatic cylinder, the SICK MZT7 magnetic cylinder sensor can be mounted directly into any cylinder with standard T-slots. When mounted directly into the slot, the universal housing design compensates for the slot dimensions. A range of mounting adapter accessories are available to allow the sensor to be used in cylinders without a T-slot, such as round, tie-rod and profile versions.
