Available with a stainless steel housing, Amacoil-Uhing Model RS drive nuts provide backlash-free linear motion in food processing machines; they run on a smooth shaft that eliminates the potential for trapping food particles and other debris. The nuts offer axial thrust from 22 to 449 lb. and are suitable for vertical or horizontal travel. They feature shaft rotational speeds up to 10,000 rpm and linear travel speeds from 6 in./sec. to 4 ft./sec. The nuts can be equipped with scrapers that continually wipe the shaft clean and fittings pre-packed with customer-specified food-grade grease.
