Alfa Laval BaseLine plate heat exchangers are built for less sensitive food, beverage or water applications that require the combination of temperature and holding time. The long, narrow plate geometry and chevron flow distribution area eliminate dead spots. Fitted with glue-less gaskets, the plates are reversible and have parallel flow, while the solid stainless steel frames are rated with a maximum operating pressure of 145 psi and temperature of 302°F. Fully 3-A and FDA compliant, the exchangers come in Base-3, Base-6, Base-10 and Base-11 sizes with 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-in. port connections.
