The Foundation of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FFPSA) announced the recipients of ten $5,000 Career Development Scholarships for the 2016-2017 academic year. Winners of these ten scholarships include family members of employees from FPSA member companies: FISKE Brothers, GEA PHE Systems, Stainless Fabrication, Inc, Marel, Evergreen Packaging Equipment, Whiting-Turner Contracting, Marel Stork Poultry Processing, Bettcher Industries and Alfa Laval.

“These recipients represent some of the nation’s best and brightest minds on the university level and we are proud to support their efforts and recognize them with this important award,” says Jeff Dahl, of JBT FoodTech and Chairman of the FPSA Foundation. “The foundation congratulates the ten winners on their achievements and looks forward to their future achievements.

FFPSA established the scholarship program in 2005 as a benefit to the members of FPSA. It is designed to promote the career and professional development of FPSA member employees who work full time and their immediate family members.

The application period for the 2017-2018 academic year will open in January 2017.
