The KHS preferential heating system features a heater section at the end of the heating segment where PET preforms are rotated to obtain a basic heating profile. In the downstream section, the rotation stops, giving the preform its selective heating profile; the heater box transfers the required energy to the preform through 2 opposite heater levels. Offered as an option for the KHS InnoPET Blomax Series IV stretch blow molder, the heating system can be retrofitted into existing systems.
