Mexico-based dairy company Grupo LaLa has announced that it will add a new American division based out of Dallas.
Products produced by LaLa U.S. will include LaLa yogurt smoothies, Promised Land premium milk and cream products, Borden cultured products, Frusion smoothies, Skim Plus milk, and Nordica cottage cheese.
“Our parent company, Grupo LALA, has a rich history that spans six decades, and LaLa U.S. with our growing family of brands continues to add to that story,” says Toby Purdy, chief marketing officer of LaLa U.S. “We strive to deliver innovative products that exceed consumer expectations from taste to nourishment.”
Founded in 1950, Grupo Lala first entered the U.S. market via Texas and California back in 2005. Since then, the company has expanded operations to 23 manufacturing facilities in the United States, becoming a nationwide yogurt smoothie company in 2016. According to Dairy Foods Magazine, Grupo LaLa is the 10th largest dairy company in the U.S. with sales of $2.9 billion in 2015.
