Entenmann’s manufacturer Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. issued a voluntary recall of some baked goods after consumers reported finding pieces of plastic in the product.

Affected products include Little Bites fudge brownies (five-pack), chocolate chip muffins (five-pack and 10-pack) and variety box (20-pack) with best-by dates of Oct. 8, 2016 or Sept. 24, 2016. These products were distributed to retail stores in the past two weeks.

The Pennsylvania-based company announced the recall after receiving consumer reports of plastic in product which presented a cutting or choking hazard. Bimbo says the problem stems from a manufacturing failure at a contract manufacturer’s bakery in Illinois. One injury has been reported.

All recalled products are being removed from store shelves. No other Entenmann’s products are included in the recall.
