Ross 50-cu.-ft. V-cone tumble blenders mix products with bulk densities up to 150 lb./cu. ft. Free-flowing solids are blended as the cone rotates, while a high-speed intensifier bar breaks up lumps and agglomerates, and introduces minor liquid ingredients to the batch. Finished product is discharged through a 10-in. dust-tight butterfly valve. All the product contact parts are made from 316 stainless steel polished to a 150-grit finish. A variety of options are available, such as vacuum capability, a heating/cooling jacket, explosion-proof motor and PLC controls.
