Approximately 10,000 cases of Kellogg’s Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles in 25 states are being voluntarily recalled because they could potentially be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the Kellogg Company announced Monday.
The Michigan-based company says the recall is a result of routine tests that the company conducts which identified the potential for contamination. As soon as the company learned of a potential concern, Kellogg says it moved quickly to identify any foods that might be impacted and resolve the issue.
The recalled waffles include 10-count packs with “Used by” dates of Nov. 21, 2017 and Nov. 22, 2017. The company has received no reports of illness to date. No other Eggo products are impacted by this recall.
