The Hapman PosiPortion volumetric screw feeder is designed for the seasoning drums or tumble coaters used in snack food and candy processing. Engineered for a +/- 1 percent loss and weight metered feed, the unit keeps the screw full and measures the volume of material in the feeder, coupled with turn speed, pitch of flights and turning time. It is available in several flow ranges. The steep side walls on the hopper and corner radii facilitate proper ingredient flow.
