National Steak and Poultry has expanded a recall of potentially undercooked ready-to-eat chicken to almost 2 million pounds.
The chicken was produced on various dates between Aug. 20 and Nov. 30, and bears the establishment number of “P-6010T” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The chicken was shipped to food service locations nationwide and sold directly to consumers at dock sales.
The original recall was announced Nov. 23, and was limited to products packaged on Oct. 4 and 5, 2016. The recall was expanded after a Nov. 28 complaint to a food service establishment that the product appeared to be undercooked. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse health effects or illnesses.
The full list of recalled products can be found on the USDA website.
