Engineered for flexible production machines, the Siko AP05 bus-compatible position indicator monitors adjustable positions and provides feedback of the positioning status to the machine controller. An inverted, backlit LCD display ensures the values for the target and actual position are legible, even in low-light conditions. The indicator can be equipped with an RS485 or a CAN interface; with the use of additional interface converters, the unit can be integrated into a range of fieldbus and Ethernet networks. It features a hollow shaft, can accommodate spindle shafts up to 20 mm in diameter and has a protection rating up to IP65.
