OK Food is recalling about 933,000 pounds of breaded chicken that may be contaminated with metal.
The problem was discovered after consumer complaints of metal being found in the product and FSIS verification. An internal investigation found the metal objects came from metal conveyor belting.
The ready-to-eat breaded chicken was produced between Dec. 19 and March 7. The recalled products have establishment number “P-7092” inside the USDA mark of inspection. Recalled product should be thrown away or returned to the point of purchase.
