Capable of providing low to high shear, the Munson Model VIM-124-S316 variable-intensity continuous blender is suitable for the high-speed blending and/or homogenizing of dry food solids, agglomerates, slurries or pastes. The unit features a horizontal cylindrical vessel with a high-speed rotating agitator supported by externally mounted bearings. Constructed of Type 316 stainless steel and finished to USDA or FDA requirements, the blender is available with an insulated low-pressure jacket or a high-pressure jacket, constructed to ASME code, which can be heated or cooled.
