The DENSO Robotics HSR 4-axis SCARA robot features vibration control, a rigid lightweight arm and heat dissipation in the base unit. With a 2-kg weight, it has a standard cycle time from 0.28 to 0.31 sec.; repeatability is +/-0.01 to +/-0.12 mm. The maximum payload capacity is 8 kg, with available reaches of 480, 550 and 650 mm. The robot can be switched between floor and ceiling mounting by making a change in the configuration file of the controller. ANSI and CE compliant, the robot can be used for high-speed pick-and-place and packaging processes.
