Dorner spiral chutes move lightweight products in a variety of package types, such as cardboard, pouches, flexible packaging and corrugated boxes, down to a lower level. The stair step design prevents products from getting stuck when being lowered from overhead conveyors, mezzanines or platforms. If packages begin to accumulate, the chutes are self-clearing to prevent jams. The chutes allow packages weighing 1 oz. to 50 lb. to be lowered at the same time.
