The Coperion ZRD hygienic rotary valve is built for sanitary food applications where contamination is a concern, and frequent disassembly and cleaning are required. Designed according to EHEDG guidelines with pressure differentials up to 1.5 bar(g) (21 psi[g]) and temperatures up to 212°F, the valve has an explosion pressure shock proof rating of 10 bar(g) (145 psi[g]). The full-access extraction system fully supports the rotor as it is removed for cleaning. All product contact surfaces are constructed from DIN 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel.
