Kellogg Company announces recall of Honey Smacks cereal
Cereal has potential to be contaminated with Salmonella

Kellogg Company has recalled two sizes of its Honey Smacks cereal due to the potential presence of Salmonella.
The products are 15.3 and 23 oz. packages with code dates of June 14, 2018 thru June 14, 2019. The 15.3 oz packages bear UPC code 3800039103 and the 23 oz. packages bear UPC code 3800014810. The products are being investigated for potential contamination after the company was contacted by the Food & Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control regarding reported illnesses.
Consumers who purchased the product should discard it or contact the company for a full refund. The company can be contacted at kelloggs.com/honeysmacksrecall or by phone at 1-800-962-1413 from Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern, as well as Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Eastern.
