Tyler Cundiff, vice president of business development in Gray Construction’s food and beverage market, received the Construction Management Founders Society’s Young Construction Engineer of the Year Award at a reception held by the University of Kentucky’s College of Engineering.
The University’s Department of Civil Engineering annually highlights outstanding career achievements in construction, together with the Construction Management Founders Society.
The award was established in 1984 to recognize outstanding early career achievement in construction from the University’s Civil Engineering graduates. The selection committee is comprised of executives and upper management from many local and national construction firms, says Dr. Gabe Dadi, assistant professor of civil engineering at the University of Kentucky.
“An extremely talented pool of accomplished engineers were considered, and certainly Mr. Tyler Cundiff fits that description,” adds Dadi.
In his current role, Cundiff develops, implements and adheres to a strategic sales plan in order to achieve corporate goals and provide business development plans for the food and beverage market.
“Given his entire career being dedicated to Gray, Tyler truly understands Gray’s values. He is detail-oriented and goes the extra mile to identify with customer needs and expectations,” says Stephen Gray, president and CEO of Gray Construction.
