The Butler Automatic SP1 automatic splicer has vacuum bars featuring Width Adaptive Vacuum Effectivity (WAVE) technology to eliminate edge curl. The wave bar includes strategically placed vacuum holes in conjunction with wave-shaped vacuum slots, providing adequate vacuum coverage for splices, regardless of the width of the film being used, and the flexibility to change format widths of plastic films without covering the holes on vacuum bars. The wave bars also can be added to existing machines.
