EDEKA Nord expands logistics center
Expansion includes two new case order machines

German grocery wholesaler EDEKA Nord has added two new WITRON case order machines as part of an expansion of its logistic center.
The facility will have a total of 16 case order machines when the expansion is complete, as well as four additional stacker cranes, 45,000 storage locations in the automated tray warehouse and a fully automated stretch wrapper.
The facility, located in Zarrentin, Germany, uses three WITRON picking modules, including order picking machinery, dynamic picking system and display pallet picking system.
