Diamond of California, a producer of specialty nuts in Stockton, Calif., announces Craig Hope as CEO. Hope has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, and the company says that Craig’s expertise will be used to reinvigorate the "Made for Homemade" brand’s focus. This will include product innovation, new segment growth and reimagining how the core culinary line is presented to today’s consumer.
Diamond of California reports that it has spent the last two years reinventing its look for its product offerings, including a brand extension, Heirloom Reserve Nut + Fruit Blends, a continuation of its premium line of Heirloom Reserve walnuts, pecans and Marcona almonds, paired with dried fruit. Part of Hope's duties will be to drive growth as consumers’ diets demand more plant-based options throughout the world and in its retail customers’ stores.
Most recently, Hope served as CEO of Country Fresh LLC, JTM Foods and led growth at Earthbound Farms. Diamond of California says that Hope has a proven track record in building revenue and executing profitable growth strategies as well as a strong background in repositioning brands to speak to the company’s core customers, while gaining growth with expanded usage and execution edge.
