The Flexicon BULK-OUT BFC sanitary bulk bag discharger has a stainless steel, open-channel frame devoid of cavities or recesses where bacteria, mold and other contaminants can breed. To meet food and dairy industry requirements, the construction includes continuous welds, ground smooth and flush with adjoining members. The discharger includes a cantilevered I-beam with an electric hoist and trolley for loading and unloading bulk bags without the use of a forklift. Bag activators raise and lower the opposite bottom edges of bags at timed intervals for the discharge of free- and non-free-flowing materials through the bag spout.
