Issued by AMS, this final rule revises the size requirements prescribed under the federal marketing order for Irish potatoes grown in Colorado. It revises the minimum size requirement for U.S. No. 2 or better grade round potatoes to align with the current size requirements for all other types of the same. This rule also revises the size requirements for smaller size profile U.S. Commercial grade or better potatoes. Effective June 20, 2019, USDA issued this final rule to conform with Executive Orders 13563 and 13175. Because the rule does not meet the definition of a significant regulatory action, it does not trigger the requirements contained in Executive Order 13771.
