Mann Packing Co. recalled a large variety of bagged green beans, broccoli and other vegetables, along with veggie bowls and trays that may be contaminated with listeria.
The products include the Mann’s brand and various private brands sold in the U.S. and Canada. Food safety officials from the two countries notified the Salinas, Calif., company of the potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
The recalled products have “best if enjoyed by” dates of Oct. 11 to Nov. 16. Examples include Mann’s vegetable medley bags of broccoli, carrots and cauliflower; Mann’s Southwest chipotle Nourish Bowls; O Organics vegetable trays; Signature Farms broccoli coleslaw; Trader Joe’s baby cauliflower bags; and Kroger organic green bean bags.
Public health officials have not reported any illnesses linked to the products, the company says. If you have them, you should throw them away.
“Mann Packing is issuing this recall out of an abundance of caution,” the company’s announcement says. “Mann Packing will continue to work closely with the authorities to investigate the issue.”
