The Coperion K-Tron ZRD hygienic rotary valve is designed for sanitary food applications where frequent disassembly and cleaning are required to fight contamination.
Engineered for applications where the valve outlet must mate to a downstream flange that matches the valve’s inlet orifice, the Roto-Disc spherical valve slices through material buildup and wipes itself clean with each cycle.
The Coperion WYK diverter valve incorporates a retractable rotor assembly and is designed in accordance with European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group guidelines.
The automation solution provider will purchase the business for $3.15 billion.

The transaction follows recent divestitures of Network Power, Leroy-Somer and Control Techniques for $5.2 billion as part of the company’s overall strategic portfolio repositioning.
Designed for small-capacity and high-sanitary applications, the Coperion K-Tron compact stainless steel ZZB rotary valve includes interior and exterior polished surfaces that prevent undesired product deposits.
Utilizing components such as pinch valves that do not directly come into contact with a product makes servicing or replacing equipment a quick and easy task.
