UPM Specialty Papers has used coatings from Michelman to develop recyclable paper packaging designed for food applications.

The packaging solution is the result of more than two years of development work from Fazer and UPM Specialty Papers to ensure recyclability without compromising food safety and quality.

The $200 million project will recycle the equivalent of 25 million plastic bottles once the facility is fully operational.
