Wheat processor Crespel & Deiters commissioned the construction of a €18.5 million ($20.7 million) silo building at its main site in Ibbenbüren, Germany at the beginning of the year – the largest single investment in infrastructure in the company’s history. 

Kellanova (formerly Kellogg Company), grocery retail group Ahold Delhaize USA, and North American agribusiness Bartlett have joined forces on an initiative to reduce Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from wheat farming across the value chain.

European wheat processor now offers plant-based solutions to manufacturers in Central and North America.

Tennessee-based Grain Craft, which owns the mill, says it’s working with farmers to handle wheat supply.
