Designed to be used with a range of light-weight, smaller-sized and unusual-shaped high-value packages, the Mettler-Toledo Hi-Speed Starweigh checkweighing system delivers milligram inspection accuracy at throughputs up to 400ppm. The product infeed operates “butt-to-butt” and requires no product spacing devices. The starwheel at the core of the system releases products after each feed step prior to weighing, which is done as a static weighing process. Requiring no line cuts, the system can be integrated into existing packaging lines.
